Burglary reported

Keys and an undetermined amount of money were taken from a cash register at Lenninger Gulf station at the intersection of Route 40 and Paul Street after a break-in sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, state police said.

Items stolen

Someone stole a Rampage compact disc player, Sony car stereo, Optimistic 300-watt amplifier and a spotlight from a vehicle owned by Albert Joseph Younkin of Connellsville between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday along Indian Creek Valley Road, state police said.

Woman injured

Sherri Pirl of Normalville suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving caught fire on Rogers Mill Road at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 27, state police said.

Purse taken

State police said a purse owned by Lynn Ann Thomas was taken from a location on Hickory Street, Phillips, between 3 and 8 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Woman hurt in crash

Natalie M. Kukurugya of Uniontown was treated at Uniontown Hospital after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Walnut Hill Road and York Run Road at 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Police said the other driver was Thomas B. Patterson of Smithfield.

Vehicle damaged

Mary Christine Hice of Masontown told state police that someone threw an object and damaged her vehicle in front of the Ronco Fire Hall at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Vehicle found

A tan/beige Honda Accord was found in a wooded area off Bute Road near Oliver No. 3 between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Sept. 28, state police said. The search for the owner continues.

Woman assaulted

A 22-year-old Lake Lynn man allegedly assaulted Bonnie Marie Stull, 22, of Smithfield in Outcrop at 6:20 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Clothes stolen

Clothes owned by Dolores Slazer, 53, of Hopwood were taken from the trunk of a vehicle on Jumonville/Coolspring Road between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

South Huntingdon Twp.

Vehicles collide

State police said vehicles operated by William Baird and Pearl Calcagni, both of Ruffsdale, collided along Route 981 Wednesday. Calcagni suffered minor injuries, police said.

Plate stolen

Gaylord Flemming of LaBelle told state police someone stole the registration plate from his vehicle along Maxwell/LaBelle Road between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Cash stolen

Rebecca Kratochbil, 41, of Grindstone told state police that someone stole about $350, a compact disc and various prescription pills from her 436 Stuckslager Road residence Monday between 2:30 and 3:45 p.m.

Gary Wilson of Evans Street told city police that someone threw a concrete rock through his living room window at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Judy McConnell of Lincoln Street told city police at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday that someone known to her took her wallet.

City police said William Giles of Uniontown was reportedly robbed at knifepoint along Clarendon Avenue at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday.

Frank’s Auto Supply on Beeson Avenue told city police at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday the someone had stolen items.

Man cited

John L. Smitley, 20, of Evans Street was cited for underage drinking after allegedly causing a disturbance at his home at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday, city police said.

Charges filed

City police have filed charges against the following in unrelated incidents:

– Debra Hay, 46, and Robert D. Walker, 50, both of North Manor, for harassment after they allegedly were found Sept. 24 yelling at an unidentified Connellsville woman.

– Randall K. Fisher, 22, of 1009 W. Crawford Ave. for public drunkenness after he allegedly was found intoxicated Sept. 27 along West Crawford Avenue.

– Frederick Sherwood, 26, of 152 N. Second St. for criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a bottle at an unidentified woman’s car Sept. 12 at a Water Street business, causing $220 in damage.

– Thomas Beal, 35, of 161 Dunbar-Ohiopyle Road, Dunbar, for possession of a controlled substance after he allegedly was found Aug. 15 with 36 Oxycodine tablets for which he did not have a prescription.

Woman cited

Christy Connell, 29, of Washington was cited for criminal mischief and harassment after she allegedly went to the home of Walter Palmer and Jennie Smith, pushed and struck them and damaged private property on Palmer Lane at 1:58 a.m. Sept. 20, state police said.
