Trisha Jo VanDivner and Robert Joseph Pelehac were married Aug. 31 in a ceremony at Holy Rosary Church, Republic. The Rev. Stephen Bogay officiated the nuptial Mass.

The bride’s parents are Albert Sr. and Bonnie VanDivner of Washington Avenue, Brownsville. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph Jr. and Diane Pelehac of Republic.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a gown with Basque waistline and short sleeves. The full skirt flowed to a cathedral-length train with organza over-lay all adorned with beads and appliques. A pearl crown accented with sequins held a fingertip-length veil with pouf.

Tiffany VanDivner, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gina Pelehac, cousin of the bridegroom; Robin Donkers, Angela Peters. Junior bridesmaids were Nicole Patton, cousin of the bride, and Angela Pelehac, cousin of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Maria Cobler, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Brian Pelehac, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Albert VanDivner Jr., brother of the bride; Mike Cetera and Gary Hatfield. Josh VanDivner, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Jewish Community Center, Uniontown.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of California High School and attended the National Career School. She is employed as a phlebotomist with Comprehensive Occupational Health Services.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Brownsville Area High School. He is employed with Med-Source of Pittsburgh.

The couple is residing at 224 Union St., Brownsville.
