Ronald W. Evans, 35, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Sunday, October 13, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born August 6, 1967 in New Eagle, Pa., son of Gregory and Rita Massey Evans of Perryopolis, Pa.

Ron was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis. He was a graduate of Frazier High School Class of 1985, a member of the U.S. Steel Worker Union and was in the United States Army with the Quarter Master Corp.

He was preceded in death by a sister Lisa Marie.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancee; Melinda Venersky of Perryopolis; a daughter Laura Anna Evans of Cape May, New Jersey; a son Christopher Evans of Cape May, New Jersey; a sister Mrs. Larry (Rhonda) Kirchner of Perryopolis, Pa.; paternal grandmother Vera Evans of Perryopolis; maternal grandmother Helen Massey of Monessen; nieces Angela Marie Kirchner of Perryopolis and Alicia Ann Venersky of Uniontown; nephew Frederick Anthony Kirchner of Perryopolis; fiancee’s parents William and Georgiana Venersky of New Salem and a great aunt Mary Anne Leonard of Perryopolis.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 E. Independence St., Perryopolis, Pa. today and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa., with Rev. Father John T. Euker as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.

A Wake Service will be held Wednesday evening at 8:15 p.m.
