Sara Jane Snyder, 73, of Uniontown, Pa., died peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 13, 2002. She was born July 17, 1929, in Point Marion, Pa., the daughter of the late Sylvester and Viola Welsh and was also predeceased by all her brothers and sisters.

Sara was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church. She worked in the cafeteria for the Uniontown School District and also worked at the Sun Porch Restaurant in Hopwood, Pa. None who visited Sara’s home left hungry.

As a loving mother, she lived her life with grace and strength, embracing every moment.

Surviving is her beloved daughter, Robin Ann Snyder; a friend Michael Horvath and Julia J. Angell (a friend for many years) and her beloved furry friends; and nephews and nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. the hour of service with the Rev. William D. Rodahaver officiating.

Interment will be private.
