Steven A. Spitak, 38, of California, Pa., died suddenly on Monday, October 14, 2002 at his home. He was born June 20, 1964 in East Cleveland, Ohio.

He was employed at Pressley Ridge Schools, Inc. in Washington, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his father Allen Spitak, paternal grandfather Paul Spitak, Sr. and maternal grandparents Steven and Elizabeth Konick.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Spitak; two children, Kaylee Elizabeth, four years and Andrew William Spitak, nine months; mother Judith A. Konick Spitak of Daisytown and paternal grandmother Anna Spitak of Centerville, Pa.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa. today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. where a Panachida Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa. with the Rev. Fr. Jerome Botsko as Celebrant.

Interment in St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Parastas Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
