Charles E. Kosco
Charles E. Kosco, 69, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Sunday, October 13, 2002 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born August 13, 1933 in South Union Township, a son of John and Anna (Marva) Kosco who both preceded him in death.
Charles was a member of Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, First Catholic Slovak Union, Jednota Lodge Branch 68 and the Hobo’s Railroad Club.
He was a retired optical technician, formerly employed with Swinker Optical of Brownsville and enjoyed collecting model trains and railroads.
Surviving are his wife Marcella (Griglak) Kosco, with whom he would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on October 22, 2002; three children, Charles I. Kosco Jr. of Uniontown, Charlene Sulak and husband Alvin of Marshall, Va.,and Michael Kosco of Uniontown; three brothers Ray Kosco of Lansdale, Pa., Donald Kosco of Dayton, Ohio and Gerard Kosco of Brownsville; a sister Marlene Petellat of Beverly Hills, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 W. Fayette St., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday until 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Parish Wake Service will be held this evening at 7:15 p.m.
