Kathryn E. McGill
Kathryn E. McGill, 77, of Smock, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, at 5:30 a.m., in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1924, in Smock, daughter of the late Charles F. Crossan and Hazel Stillwagon Crossan.
Kathryn was a member of the Women of the Moose, and she was also a former member of Pleasant View Presbyterian Church of Smock.
She is survived by the following children, John C. McGill of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Ronald McGill and wife, Izetta of Smock, Gene McGill and wife, Kathie of Vanderbilt, Pa., Thomas McGill and wife, Darla and Ray McGill and wife, Cindy, both of Smock, Mrs. Bernie (Katie) Martin of Perryopolis, Pa., Bobby McGill and wife, Helen of Smock, Mrs. Art (Mary) Hazelbaker of Fayette City, Pa., and Mrs. John (Donna) Petronie of Smock; 33 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Hazel) Scarano of Tampa, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Crossan of Warren, Ohio; and one brother, John Crossan and wife, Pat of Vanderbilt, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Charles and William Crossan.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence St., Perryopolis, today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor C. Brian Higbee officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery of Smock.
