ST. PAUL AME CHURCH, 187 Morgantown St., Uniontown, will hold a flea market Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Rib and chicken dinner will be served at 11 a.m. Rib dinners are $6.50 and chicken dinners are $5. Sandwiches will also be served. WEST BEND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, East Millsboro, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Dinners are $5.50 for adults and $2.50 for children. Tickets will be sold at the door. Take-out orders will be available.
FAITH ASSEMBLY OF GOD will hold a harvest carnival at the Ben Franklin School cafeteria, Uniontown, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 31. Puppets, drama, candy; games and prizes will be featured.
PIONEER TRAILS CLUSTER of the United Methodist churches, is selling entertainment and enjoyment books. The books offer dollar-off savings and are available at the churches in Fredericktown, Denbo, Centerville, Taylor, Bentleyville, Beallsville, Mt. Zion, Marianna, Zollarsville Chapel and Scenery Hill or by calling 724-632-3310.
HOPEOOW GARDEN CLUB will meet Tuesday at Topos Restaurant. Club members are asked to meet at 11 a.m. at the Hopwood Firemen’s Social Hall to car pool.
OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP, St. Mary’s of Leckrone, is taking orders for potato and cheese perogies at $4 a dozen and for long rolls (nut, apricot, poppyseed and pumpkin) at $6 each. Homemade cookies are also being sold this year at $20 and $30 trays. Orders are being taken at the social hall at 724-737-6788, Monday through Wednesday form 9 a.m. to noon or at 724-583-2580. Last day to order is Nov. 18.
PARENTS OF AUTISTIC KIDS, Fayette/Greene County Autism Support Group, will meet Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Early Head Start Building, Coolspring Street, Uniontown. LITTLE REDSTONE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Central School Road, Fayette City, will hold a buckwheat and buttermilk pancake supper on Nov. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. The new church cookbook will also be on sale.
NORTH UNION ALL CLASS REUNION 1906-1966 will hold a meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Laurel Highlands High School.
HILLER FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold a cash bash Saturday starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. Food and refreshments will be available. Doors open at 6 p.m. Patrons must be 21 years or older. Proceeds benefit the purchase of a new fire truck.
