Letters distributed
Letters pertaining to the annual Silver Offering of the Bobtown United Methodist Church have been distributed. All responses should be returned by Nov. 10
Through the generous responses in the past, much work has been done at the church and its grounds. This summer, French drains and new gas lines were the major projects, and now the basement, hopefully, is free from water and the renovation can begin.
A celebration in the form of a homecoming is being planned for early 2003, and it is the hope of all that work will be completed in the basement for this event.
Students honored
The Shannopin Civic Club at Bobtown selected the following senior girls from Mapletown Junior-Senior High School to be honored at the annual awards ceremony in the spring: September, Brianna Rice; October, Ashley Jordan; November, Rachel Stevenson; December, Rachel Burack; January, Terri Poling; February, Kaylin Mathews; March, Audrey Haney; April, Arica Jordan; and May, Elizabeth Walkas.
All girls should get their write-ups and pictures to Marie Ellenberger at Bobtown as soon as possible.
Congratulations to all the girls.
