Brenda Carol Baer Fudala, L.P.N.
Brenda Carol Baer Fudala, L.P.N., 45, of Clarksville, Pa., died unexpectedly in her home Friday, October 18, 2002. She was born February 20, 1957, in Waynesburg, Pa., daughter of Samuel R. Baer and Phyllis Antil Baer of Clarksville.
Mrs. Fudala was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and also graduated from Greene County Vocational-Technical School as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was a Respiratory Therapist who worked at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Brownsville General Hospital, and also Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Mrs. Fudala was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in West Brownsville.
She was previously active in karate and held a Third-Degree Brown Belt.
She loved animals, gardening, and spending time with her beloved Family.
On November 4, 1989, she married Frank Fudala Jr., who survives.
Also surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are a son, Paul Brian Whetsell and his wife, Jennifer, of Madison Heights, Michigan; a grandson, Gabriel Whetsell; four sisters: Linda Benyi and Jean Collins both of Clarksville, Joan Baer of Casselberry, Florida, and Sharon Sisler of Rices Landing, Pa.; five nephews: Samuel Benyi Jr., Michael Benyi, Daniel Benyi, Patrick Collins, and David Sisler Jr.; one niece and Godchild, Samantha Sisler; one great niece; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Deceased are her paternal grandparents, Samuel and Leona Baer, maternal grandparents, Leo and Ina Antil, and a nephew, Cory Gene Collins.
Friends will be received in the FRANK M. BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 28 Mill Street, Millsboro, Pa., today from 1 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Monday, October 21, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel Smolcic of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Main Street, West Brownsville, officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, Pa.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
