George Gilbert Eicher, 82, a lifelong resident of Mount Pleasant, Pa., World War II Veteran of the Merchant Marines, former Mechanic/Parts Manager for the former Shaffer Chevrolet, Billingsley Chevrolet in Mount Pleasant, and the former Nedham Chevrolet in Latrobe, Pa., and also worked at the former Walworth Valve Company in South Greensburg, Pa., died Thursday, October 17, 2002, in Eicher’s Personal Care Home, Normalville, Pa. He is survived by a son, George O. Eicher and wife, Sheila Conyette Eicher, of Mount Pleasant; grandson, Zachary G. Eicher; and sister, Mary Eicher Daniels and husband, Lloyd Daniels, of Port Allegheny, Pa.

Friends may call at Galone-Caruso’s, A Golden Rule Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 21, until 11a.m.
