Hare-Komich
Carolyn Lee Komich of Alexandria, Va., and Jason Whitney Hare of Springfield, Va., were married July 13 at Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, N.C. The Rev. Haywood Holderness, cousin of the bride, heard the exchange of marriage vows.
The bride is the daughter of Gray and Lee Komich of Alexandria, Va. The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Mary Hare of Joanne Lane, Uniontown.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Lee Komich. She wore a strapless gown with an embroidered organza wrap.
Carla Komich, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Debbie Harrison of Springfield, Va. Attendants were Mary Fiscina and Christine Passut, both of Virginia.
Jonathan M. Hare was best man for his brother. Groomsman was Christopher Oberly of Uniontown. Ushers were Douglas Stewart and Michael Skocik, both of Uniontown.
A reception was held at the Villa Dunes Clubhouse in Nags Head, N.C.
The bride graduated from Longwood College with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and elementary education. She also earned a master of science degree in special education. She is employed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with the Autism Research Project.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Waynesburg College and earned a bachelor of science degree in sports medicine and biology. He also earned a master of education degree in athletic training. He is also employed with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as athletic trainer at Shaler High School.
The couple honeymooned in Maine and is residing in Pittsburgh.
