California (Pa.) 70, Lock Haven 65 – The Vulcans built an eight-point halftime lead, then held off the home team Saturday for a PSAC-West road victory despite having four starters foul out. Aaron Brown, Damon Taylor, Tom Frederick and Ishmieal Kamara all fouled out for the Vulcans.
California improves to 2-1 in the conference and 13-3 overall. Lock Haven falls to 1-1 and 5-11.
Four Vulcans were in double figures with Ryan Stefanski leading the way with 15 points. Kamara and Frederick both scored 12 while Taylor added 10.
Lock Haven’s Kris Holtzer scored a game-high 23.
