Mildred Jean Gulosh Quinlan
Mildred Jean Gulosh Quinlan, 71, of Leisenring, Pa., died Thursday, October 17, 2002, in Select Specialty Hospital, Greensburg, Pa. She was born November 4, 1930, in Monarch, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of Emory Gulosh and Elizabeth Onderish Gulosh.
Mildred was a graduate of Dunbar Township High School Class of 1948.
She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Leisenring, and its “Our Ladies Guild”.
A son, Richard F. Quinlan, and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas D. Quinlan Jr.; three children: Thomas D. Quinlan III of Dunbar Township, Carol A. Quinlan Upton and her husband, Walter “Sam” A. Upton of Leisenring, and Michael F. Quinlan and companion, Phyllis Grimm, of Dickerson Run, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Thomas D. Quinlan IV of Hollywood, Florida, Tanya Upton and companion, Pat Plesz, of Rockwell, North Carolina, Phillip Grimm and wife, Melissa, of Columbus, Ohio, Samuel Upton and wife, Rachael, of Dunbar Township, Kristen Upton and fiance, Christopher Bolish, of Leisenring, Richard Upton and companion, Caroline Palmer, of Leisenring, and Tia Quinlan of South Connellsville, Pa.; five great grandchildren: Brandon, Jace, Rylee, Paige and Katelyn; a sister, Elizabeth Macko and husband, Michael, of Connellsville, Pa.; two brothers: Robert Gulosh of Connellsville and Francis Gulosh and wife, Pam, of Baton Route, Louisiana; also many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from Noon to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Monday, October 21, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Leisenring, with Rev. Fr. Peter Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Parish Wake Service was held in the Funeral Home on Saturday at 3 p.m.
