A wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, followed the marriage of Stacey Ellen Porter of Brownsville and James Lorin Sadler of Charleroi. The Rev. David Dzermeiko officiated the June 22 nuptial Mass at Mary Mother of the Church, Charleroi.

Parents of the bride are Bruce and Cindy Porter of Porter Road, Brownsville. Parents of the bridegroom are James and Ruth Sadler of Craven Hill, Charleroi.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white embroidered organza A-line gown with a beaded bodice and satin ribbon hem.

Maid of honor was Erica White. Bridesmaids were Liz Porter, sister of the bride; Nora Walters, Renee Rosner, Nannette Hrycko and Danielle Sadler. Hannah Pierce and Alissity Rosner were the flower girls.

Best man was Matt Bolkar. Ushers were Josh Wood, Steve Bader, Tony Rosner, Joe Hrycko and Aaron Hrycko. Adam Hrycko and Andrew Hrycko were ring bearers.

A reception was held at the Carroll Township Social Hall, Monongahela.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She is a research coordinator with the University of Pittsburgh, conducting studies at the Veterans Administration Hospital and UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Ringgold High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy. He is a third-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh.

The couple resides in Shadyside.
