Verna Bobish Cology, 88, of Fairfax, Virginia, died on Friday, October 18, 2002, in INOVA Fairoaks Hospital, Fairfax, Virginia. She was born on September 30, 1914, in York Run, Fayette County, Pa.
Her husband, Joseph A. Cology, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia Lukowski of Fairfax, Virginia; a son, Albert Cology of Uniontown, Pa.; three granddaughters; one great granddaughter; two great grandsons; and a sister, Margaret Fabinsky of Casselberry, Florida.
Friends will be received at the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday morning, Oct. 23, 2002, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m., in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as celebrant. Interment will be at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
