BROWNFIELD COMMUNITY CENTER, Dawson, will hold a masquerade Halloween party Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. Admission for adults is $5. Children, one bag of candy. Refreshments will be available. Music will be provided by Bo-Pat. BOBTOWN ROD AND GUN CLUB will hold a Halloween dance Saturday form 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. It is open to the public. Admission is $2. REPUBLIC COMMUNITY LIBRARY will hold a Halloween dress up and parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Treats will be distributed. The Brownsville Area High School band and a fire truck will also be in the parade that will start and end at the library.
PRECEPTOR BETA PHI will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the home of Kathy Pechunka. A Halloween social will take place.
AL-ANON meets at 8 p.m. Wednesdays in the basement meeting room of Trinity Presbyterian Church, corner of Morgantown and Fayette streets. The meetings are open to anyone effected by someone’s drinking.
WASHINGTON COUNTY FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION will meet Saturday at the Weirton Heights Fire Department in Weirton, W.Va.
ST. PROCOPIUS CHURCH, New Salem, will hold a breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Take-out orders will be available. Costs are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
CHRISTIANMEN’S BREAKFAST will be held at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at Third Presbyterian Church, Craig Meadows, 425 Union St., Uniontown.
