Fourth Diabetic Fair scheduled Wednesday
Fayette Home Care and the Uniontown Hospital announced the fourth annual Diabetic Health Fair will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The health fair will be held on the first floor of the Uniontown Hospital in the Heritage Conference Room area. The health fair is a free community service available to diabetics, their families, caregivers and anyone who has an interest in diabetic management.
Numerous free screenings will be available, including:
– Vision, Gallo Eye Surgical
– Hearing, Beltone Hearing Instruments
– Feet, Fayette Podiatry
– Spinal, Baker Chiropractic and Wellness Center
– Depression, ACS Psychological Associates
– Diet, Norma Simbra, registered dietician
Diabetic medication and product representatives will demonstrate the latest developments in diabetic management. Health fair participants will have an opportunity to speak with representatives individually.
Blood pressure and body fat analysis will also be available.
Participants are eligible for numerous prize drawings, each valued at about $25. Many free samples of diabetic products and discount coupons for diabetic products will be offered.
