1 min read

In keeping with the October season, the Dry Knob School House Theatre in Fairchance is offering “Bones” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday. In the show, the dry bones rise from the deserted valley of the dead. The cast of 21 portrays the timeless truth of God’s love and power.

The program opens with children in their tree house, putting a black and white puzzle together. Their mother explains the puzzle “Bones” based on “Ezekiel Offers Hope to the World.”

“Bones” is a musical for youthful voices based on the Biblical account of God communicating to the prophet Ezekiel through visions of a four-headed monster.

Children in the tree house are sisters Megan and Melissa Bittinger with their mother Tina Marie Bittinger relating the story of Ezekiel.

Heather Hudac performs as Ezekiel. Danielle Hudac, Lindsie Hollowood and Samantha Detrick perform as the four-headed monster with the body of a man in Ezekiel’s vision. The voice of God will be supplied by Eric Long.

Additional performers in the cast are the marching captives, including Issac Brownfield, Matthew Brownfield, Alivia DeWitt, Heidi DeWitt, Lauryn DeWitt, Dylan Detrick, Megan Ehman, Jessica Eicher, Kris Eicher, Aaron Long, Connie Nice, Noelle Quinn and Kasey Zemba.
