Harry A. Metz I
Harry A. Metz I, 74, of Grindstone, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1928, in Lonaconing, Md., son of the late George and Bessie Clark Metz.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Anderson Metz; two children, Harry Metz II of Grindstone, Pa., and Jeanne Metz of McClellandtown, Pa.; five grandchildren, Tyffanie Metz, Terri Paroda, Harry Metz III, William Vlosich and Karla Hardin; seven great-grandchildren, Jace, Zachery, Marty, Devin, Lytisha, Brandon and Kaylee; brothers, George and Fred Metz; and sisters, Ruth Holderby, Alda MacMillan and Betty Bishop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jim and Ralph; and sisters, Skip and Helen.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Timothy Tanner officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
