Jeane Garrow
Jeane Cole Garrow, 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at the Overlook Medical Clinic, New Wilmington, Pa. She was born May 4, 1918, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Albert Cole and Mary Jane Franklin Cole.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Garrow (1996); a daughter, Patricia Garrow Kosup; and many brothers and sisters.
Jeane was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church (volunteer on visitation committee, a past deacon and member of Women’s Bible Class). She was also a member of Uniontown Chapter No. 263 of the O.E.S., and a volunteer at the American Red Cross and the Uniontown Hospital.
Surviving are a son, George C. Garrow M.D., and wife, Diane of New Wilmington, Pa.; two daughters, Eleanor Garrow Podloger and husband, Fred of Strongsville, Ohio, and Brenda Pietrantoni of Elizabeth, Pa.; one sister Legatha Ransom of Moorestown, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday, in the funeral home, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the hour of service, with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
