Roy T. Harvey
Roy T. Harvey, 73, of LaBelle, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, in The Brownsville General Hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Grindstone, Pa., son of the late Roy B. and Anna Borris Harvey.
Mr. Harvey was retired from U.S. Steel, Robena Mine, was a life member of the LaBelle Fire Hall, and Past President of LaBelle Athletic Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Butt.
Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bernice (Bunny) Jones Harvey; four sons, Kerry Harvey and his wife, Linda of New Salem, Pa., Keith Harvey and his wife, Nancy of Farmington, Pa., Dana Harvey of LaBelle, Pa., and Tim Harvey of LaBelle, Pa.; nine grandchildren, Brian Harvey and wife, Carrie of LaBelle, Pa., Amy Harmon of Gulfport, Miss., Jason, Derek, Ryan and Josh Harvey of New Salem, Pa., and Dustin, Chris and Zack Harvey of Monessen, Pa.; five great-grandchildren; five brothers and one sister, Robert Harvey of Kansas, William Harvey of Florida, Anna Cramer of Ohio, and Terrance, James and Larry, all of LaBelle, Pa.; a special sister-in-law, Maxine Ritzo of LaBelle, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday and will be private for the family.
