United in marriage were Jill Lynne Kovalic of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and formerly of Uniontown, and Timothy Ray Litten, also of Mount Pleasant. The Rev. Dr. Vance E. Polley officiated the service on Aug. 10 at the Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Sullivan’s Island, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Diane Johnson of Maryville, Tenn., and John Kovalic of Uniontown.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Fink of Jeffersonton, Va., and the late Robert Litten.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with chapel-length train. Her headpiece was a white finger-tip length veil.

Maid of honor was Kristen Wenzel of Liberty, Mo. Bridesmaid was Martha Janczura-Gorley of Maryville, Tenn.

Best man was George Fink, the bridegroom’s step-father. Ushers were Daniel Fling of Charleston, S.C., James Gorley of Maryville, Tenn., and Douglas Litten of Kingsport, Tenn.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The bride graduated from West Virginia University and is employed with Charleston County Aviation Authority in Charleston, S.C.

The bridegroom is employed with Transportation Security Administration in Charleston.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev. and on a Caribbean cruise.

They are residing in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
