Mary Ann Bordas, 86, of Greensburg, Pa., formerly of Vanderbilt, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. She was born in Vanderbilt, on Aug. 16, 1916, a daughter of the late John Michael and Anna Adams Bordas.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Dawson, and a retired cafeteria supervisor for the Connellsville Area Schools.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, among who are Maryann Markitell and husband, James and Kristin of Greensburg, Pa., with whom she resided; and nephews John Scowary and his wife, Bonnie and Jonathon and Jordon of Perryopolis, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, George, John, Michael, Andrew, Thomas and J. L.; and three sisters, Gertrude Leonard, Martha Scowary and Virginia Gladden.

Friends will be received in the RALPH E. GALLEYL FUNERAL HOME, in Dawson, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
