Brandi Moran of Westminster, Md., daughter of Thomas and Glenna Moran of Buckhannon, W.Va., is engaged to wed Jeff Deems of Hanover. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is a special education teacher with the Carroll County Public Schools.

Her fiance is the son of Ron and Nora Deems of Haddenville Road, Uniontown. He is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College. He is a sixth-grade teacher with the Bermudian Springs School District.

A wedding is planned for June 21.
