Christian Church

Last week, in the Christian Church news, it was stated that lunch is still served at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday. It was suppose to say, “The lunch bunch meets at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the Family Life Center.” It is true that lunch is served; however, it is “self-serve.” In other words, you BYOL – or bring your own lunch.

Meatball Madness

“How many to make before we break and our hands we cannot feel?”

Off to the kitchen with hamburger prime.

They knew the meatballs would be sublime.

Counting one, then two and three hundred or so, “Now please let us not run out of time.”

Many hours passed and nary a pause.

They made 560 without a loss.

Then one lady asked, “Hey, what’s next?”

They others cried out “Oh no, the sauce!”

Many thanks go out to all those great Moose gals who went beyond the call of duty to make the Frazier Band spaghetti dinner a huge success. Then they took a nap and started cooking for the Moose cash bash, which was another huge success.

Perryopolis is sure fortunate to be blessed with such women who give hours and hours of their time so that so many organizations have such successful fundraisers. Thanks again.
