Joseph J. Girolami
Joseph J. Girolami, 82, of Hibbs, Pa., passed away Saturday, October 26, 2002, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
He was born August 4, 1920, in Fairbank, Pa., son of Petro and Filomena Tirabassi Girolami. Joseph was a member of St. Procopius Church in New Salem, retired from U.S. Steel’s Filbert Shop, and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline M. Broadwater Girolami in 1994, brothers, James, Leo and John Girolami, and his parents.
Surviving are a son, Albert Girolami and his wife, Mimi, of McKees Rocks, Pa.; a sister, Emma Barnhart of Leckrone, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 29, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Procopius Church, New Salem, with Rev. Fr. James L. Popochock as Celebrant.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Wake Service will be held today at 3 p.m.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
