Lucille Blaney Jenkins, 77, of Smithfield, Pa., died Thursday evening, October 24, 2002, at her home in Smithfield. She was born July 12, 1925, in Over Cheat, West Virginia, daughter of the now late Jacob Connie Blaney and Anna Sliger Blaney.

She was a retired Beautician having owned and operated her own salon, Lucille’s Beauty Shop, in Smithfield for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Floyd Sylvester Jenkins; one daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Jenkins Stephen and her husband, Gary, of Presto, Pa.; two grandchildren: Emily and Ryan; three sisters: Ruth Spacht, June Pugh and husband, Junior, and Beatrice Hudak and husband, Mike, and a brother, Page Blaney and wife, Melvina, all of Morgantown, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Smith, and two brothers, Gilbert and Edward Blaney.

The Family received Friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME OF SMITHFIELD on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held today, October 28, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin, Pastor of White House Free Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
