Ruth V. Armstrong
Ruth V. Armstrong, 89, of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, October 26, 2002, in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc., Carroll Township, Washington County, Pa. Born July 24, 1913, in Monongahela, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Aurelia Wagner Armstrong.
Besides parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Armstrong, Donald Armstrong (July 2002), sister, Margie Armstrong Miller (June 2002), and by son, Walter Brosky (1955).
Ruth was a member of the former Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in West Brownsville.
Following in her father’s footsteps, she sold markers for Johnson Memorial in Meyersdale, Pa.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her son, Ronald Brosky and his wife, Ada, of West Brownsville, Pa.; by grandchildren: Ronald Brosky of West Brownsville, Kristin Timko and her husbnad, John, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Leigh Byrne and her husband, Dave, of Brownsville, Carol Conner and her husband, Jim, of California, Pa., Dara Maynard and her husband, Jeff, and Danny Brosky all of Florida; by great-grandchildren: Jimmy Timko and Joshua Timko, Sarah Byrne, Brody Conner Mandy and Stephanie Maynard all at home; by sister, Lois Stetz of Charleroi, Pa.; by brother, Herbert Armstrong and his wife, Edith, of Cleveland, Ohio; by sister-in-law, Sara Armstrong of West Brownsville; and by many nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive Friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 25, from 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral Services will then be conducted by Rev. Robert E. Ellenberger, Assistant Pastor of Cherry Tree Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Uniontown, officiating.
