The education council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce has honored Elizabeth Essinger-Hileman of Masontown, a junior at Albert Gallatin Area High School, as student of the month for October. The daughter of the Revs. Douglas and Sandra Essinger-Hileman, Elizabeth is undecided which post-secondary school she will attend, but she will major in chemistry and minor in forensics to become a forensic chemist.
She has gained work experience as a tutor and is a member of the math team, Academic League, soccer team and the marching band. She has earned several honors and awards, including becoming a member of the National Honor Society.
