Bessie J. Beal, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, October 27, 2002 in Foxboro Manor. She was born March 4, 1916 in Uniontown, Pa.

Miss Beal was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church for over 64 years and the Wesley Sunday School Class.

Preceding her in death were her parents Emmett and Bessie B. Beal; two sisters Helen L. Eicher in 1997 and a twin sister Evelyn L. Beal in 2002.

Surviving are a brother Robert J. Beal Sr. and his wife Alverda of Upper Darby, Pa.; a nephew Robert J. Beal, Jr. and his wife Susan of Turnersville, N.J.; a grand nephew Adam Beal and a grand niece Lauren Beal.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday until 1 p.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Thomas Whitehead officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
