CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 4 W. Fayette St., Uniontown, will hold a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Baked goods, homemade candy, jewelry, books, crafts and corny bargains will be featured. Lunch, homemade vegetable soup, sandwich, dessert and beverage, will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A complete roast beef dinner will be served (by ticket only) from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Take-out orders for lunch and dinner will be available by calling 724-438-3084. COLONEL ANDREW LYNN CHAPTER, DAR, will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Uniontown Public Library. The PSS DAR Southwest District director, Lois Rura of Coral, will be the guest speaker. Her subject is “Bridge to the Future.’ It concerns the Hindman Settlement School in eastern Kentucky that is one of many schools supported by the DAR. The Great Meadows Chapter DAR members will attend this meeting.
SENIOR CITIZEN Christmas trip to Oglebay Park, Wheeling W.Va., will take place Nov. 30. Cost is $15. A guided tour of the park lights will be featured. For information and reservations, call Clara Delaney at 724-439-9540.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 1275, Home Association/Anchor Club of Uniontown, is holding a cash bash and Vegas night on Saturday at the Council Home, North Gallatin Avenue extension, Uniontown. Doors open at 6 p.m. For tickets, call 724-437-1488 after 5 p.m.
