Janet “Chatty” Dandrea
Janet “Chatty” Dandrea, 66, of Newell, Pa., died Sunday, October 27, 2002 in Beverly Health Care, Uniontown, Pa. She was born November 9, 1935 in Newell, Pa., daughter of the late Marco and Anna Rocco Dandrea.
She was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Newell, Pa.
Chatty loved hugs and music. She was an avid Bobby Vinton fan and loved to watch game shows on TV and playing cards.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents Samuel and Maria Rocco and two brothers Rocky and DeMarco Dandrea.
Surviving are her four sisters Dolores Smith and husband Tom, with whom she made her home, Mary Ann Chaplin and husband John of Sardis, Ohio, Eleanor Longwell and husband Gage of Moundsville, W.Va., Sunday Roth and husband Bill of Hannibal, Ohio; two brothers Joseph Dandrea of Newell and Sam and wife Annie Dandrea of Stanton Island, N.Y., also many loving and caring nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 1 p.m. when a Blessing Service will take place with Rev. Fr. John Cindric officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
