Nancy L. Koontz Chalfont, 57, of R.D. 3, Mt. Pleasant (West Overton), Pa., died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 27, 2002 in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Pa. Nancy chose to be a “volunteer for life” by donating her organs so others may live. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gerald D. Chalfont; children, Robin Lee Kelley and husband Robert Shawn of White, Pa., Jeanette I. Moore and husband Daniel of Darragh, Pa., and Billey Jo Chalfont of New Kensington and fiancee Paul T. Willard; three grandchildren Sarah E. Chalfont, James E. Chalfont and Shelby William Kelley; brothers and sisters, Robert Koontz and wife Carol of Connellsville, Dorothy Leeper and husband Jake of Connellsville, Harry Cavanaugh and wife Anita of McKeesport and Marge Sawyer and husband Harrold of Connellsville.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in the Scottdale Church of Christ.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Pa.
