Robert Viestra

Robert Viestra, 74, of Humbert Lane Health Care Center of Washington, died Sunday, October 27, 2002 in Washington Hospital. He worked for over 17 years as a machine operator for McGraw Edison in Canonsburg.

He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post 391 of Fredericktown, Pa.

Surviving are a son, Scott Viestra of Canonsburg; a sister Dorothy Sweaney of Sandy Plains, Clarksville and a brother Joseph Viestra of Los Angeles, California and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26, Mill Street, Millsboro, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Services will be conducted by the American Legion Post 391 in the funeral home this evening at 8 p.m.
