Injuries reported
State police said several people were injured in a 2:25 p.m. Thursday accident on Route 119 at Route 982.
Police said Nicholas Nalevanko of Youngwood fell asleep and the vehicle he was driving struck a vehicle driven by William Swank of Scottdale.
Swank’s vehicle then struck another driven by Michael Linko of Mount Pleasant, and Linko’s automobile struck a car driven by Donald Clark of Connellsville, police said.
Nalevanko and Swank suffered minor injuries, while Thomas Ohrenik of Scottdale, who was in Swank’s vehicle, reportedly suffered major injuries and was taken to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, police said.
Swank’s other passengers, Theresa Swank of Scottdale and Gwendolyn Kersten of Dawson, were taken to Frick Hospital with moderate injuries.

One-car accident
State police said Terry Monas, 49, of Jefferson was not injured when his car struck a guardrail and traveled down an embankment Thursday at 1:45 a.m. along Route 88 in Millsboro.

Citation filed
State police said they filed a public drunkenness citation against Bradley Neale, 20, of Brownsville after he allegedly was found under the influence of alcohol at Call Tech, where he works, Friday at 3 a.m.

Theft reported
State police said a credit card was stolen from a vehicle owned by Kelly Lynn Foster of Monongahela on Aug. 21 when it was parked along Vann Drive.

Man cited
Michael Frazee, 26, of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness Friday at 5:20 a.m. when he was found intoxicated walking along Route 119, state police said.

State police said someone scratched a car owned by Elizabeth Slaughter, 78, of Leisenring between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday at her Broadway Street home.

Mailboxes damaged
State police said two mailboxes belonging to Joyce Ann Ulery and Carol Ann Shannon along Ulery Road were damaged Aug. 24.

Man cited
Oliver Perry Engle, 35, of Uniontown was cited for disorderly conduct Thursday at 11 p.m. after he allegedly shouted obscenities from his porch along Second Street, Continental 3, state police said.

Phone stolen
State police said a Nokia cell phone was taken from the trunk of Abraham Lincoln Sullivan’s car Thursday when it was parked along First Street, Lemont Furnace.

State police said someone cut down a tree on Rose Perhus’ property along Short Street, Smock, Wednesday or Thursday.

Charges filed
Connellsville police filed charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property against Deanne Y. Mills, 35, of 115 W. Fayette St., Connellsville, after she allegedly was found to have paid for a pizza with parking tokens and screws Aug. 28.
According to police, Mills submitted what appeared to be a roll of coins for the cost of the pizza; however, the roll contained lesser denominations of coins and other items.

Man charged
Connellsville police filed underage drinking charges against Lee Randolph Powell, 18, of 33 Gibson Terrace after he allegedly was found to be intoxicated and creating a disturbance at another Gibson Terrace residence Aug. 25.
Uniontown
Police investigate
State police are still seeking the identity of two men and the whereabouts of Robert Brown, address unknown, in connection with the assault of a 16-year-old girl Aug. 24 on Fayette Street. Police filed a complaint charging Brown with aggravated assault for allegedly assaulting the girl, who was with three other girls at 7:40 p.m. when their car was forced off the road.
Police said Brown, who was the front-seat passenger in the silver car, allegedly assaulted the girl when she got out of the other car. She was treated at Uniontown Hospital.
Police are looking for Brown, who they described as white, in his mid-30s, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, with blue eyes, light brown hair in a ponytail, mustache and goatee.
Police also are seeking the identity of the driver and back-seat passenger of the silver car. The driver was black and the passenger was white, police said.

Charges pending
State police said they plan to file harassment charges against two people for an Aug. 25 incident in which they reportedly yelled obscenities at Margaret Zdehovan, 40, of Star Junction.

Driver injured
William Sethman, 30, of Fayette City was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital on Friday after he lost control of his truck and it rolled over on Interstate 70, said state police at Washington.

Store robbed
State police are seeking a suspect in a reported armed robbery Friday at the Big Barn Store along Route 51.
Police said a white man in his early 20s entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money from an employee. The suspect fled on foot and entered the woods about 75 to 100 yards from the store, police said.
Police described the suspect as being 6 feet tall with short blond/brown hair, wearing a long-sleeved, dark-colored shirt and sporting a red-and-white bandana on his head. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-6262.

Vehicle damaged
State police said someone used a brick to break the windshield of a Honda sedan owned by Saundra R. Mason, 51, of Hiller on Thursday night.

Woman injured
Johnna E. Wyne, 29, of Vanderbilt was flown to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center after the vehicle she was driving struck a tree along Route 201 on Friday, said state police.

Home invaded
Three or four unknown men reportedly entered the Continental 1 residence of Chariss Cox, 25, and Cynthia Wallace, 51, on Wednesday, said state police.
Police said the intruders searched through Cox’s belongings in the master bedroom while restraining her, then left the house, apparently without stealing anything. Police said the intruders also restrained Wallace during the incident.

Vehicle rolls over
State police said Shirley J. Prinkey of Normalville lost control of her truck Wednesday on Rich Hill Road and it rolled over.

Accident reported
State police investigated a two-vehicle accident Friday on Sheldon Avenue in Fairchance. Drivers were identified as Paul Retofsky and Louis Palmer, both of Fairchance.

Citation issued
State police said they filed a citation against Robert Scott Kantorik in connection with an Aug. 24 domestic dispute in which he was alleged to have struck a juvenile in the face.
Police said the citation was filed at the office of District Justice Rick Vernon.

Man charged
Charles Samuel Smith, 18, of Smithfield was charged in connection with the Wednesday damaging of three mailboxes along Chess Road in Smithfield, said state police. Police said charges were filed at the office of District Justice Randy Abraham.

Man cited
State police said they cited Alexis Edwards, 23, of Chalk Hill for harassment Friday for allegedly slapping Jamie Custer, 21, of Markleysburg during an argument at the Dinner Bell Bar.

Theft reported
Harry Dick, 56, of Smithfield reported to state police Friday the theft of tools and equipment from a logging site. He also told police that a skidder and truck were damaged.

State police investigated a Friday accident involving vehicles driven by Stacy Georg, 31, of Wellsville, Ohio, and Kelly Bevard, 32, of Farmington. No injuries were reported.

Vehicles collide
Vehicles driven by Doloris R. Tringes, 32, of Smock and Sherry L. Stewart, 49, of Vanderbilt were involved in an accident Saturday on Oliver Road, said state police.

State police said someone found a men’s gray-and-yellow mountain bike Saturday on Center Avenue in Uniontown. Anyone wishing to claim the bike should call police at 724-439-7111.

Motorcycle accidents
A spokeswoman for Fayette 911 said Saturday night that separate motorcycle accidents in Springfield and Bullskin townships sent the motorcyclists to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center via emergency helicopter.
The Springfield Township accident reportedly took place at 6:43 p.m. on Killarney Road. Fayette EMS and state police responded to the scene, according to 911.
The Bullskin Township accident reportedly took place at 6:47 p.m. on Spruce Hollow Road. Fayette Ambulance, state police and Fayette EMS responded to the scene, according to 911.
