Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vilk of Uniontown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Marie, to Christopher Keith Smith of West Chester, son of Barb and Larry Smith of Vanderbilt. The bride-elect is a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in dietetics.

Her fiance is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is employed at Vanguard Group and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Penn State, Valley Forge.

The couple plans a wedding for April 2004.
