Fatal accident

Keith Mull of Youngwood died as a result of injuries suffered when he failed to negotiate a curve on Murray Avenue just outside the village of Hostetter in Unity Township at 6 a.m. Monday. Police said he traveled 90 feet off of the roadway and struck a large rock head on.

Underage drinking

State police said an 18 year-old Uledi man was found intoxicated on Turkeyfoot Road, Lemont Furnace at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

Man cited

Adam Lowry, 24, of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness after he was found loitering in Bierwood Acres at 2 a.m. Saturday.

Theft

Joshua Skuarla of Dunbar told state police that $3 and two bank cards were removed from his wallet that had been left in a pavilion at the Hutchinson ball field between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Disorderly conduct

State police reported that a 42-year-old Brownsville man is facing charges after he allegedly caused public alarm and annoyance at Hunters Ridge at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

Charges pending

State police said charges of simple assault and harassment are pending against a 46 year-old Ohiopyle man for allegedly punching Bruce L. Seuss Sr., 46, of Markleysburg in the mouth and then punching Bruce L. Seuss Jr., 17, of Markleysburg in the face outside of a Route 40 bar at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Man injured

John N. Davis Jr. of Derry was taken by medical helicopter to UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh after he lost control of his motorcycle along Route 381, just north of Grimes Road at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Accident

State police reported that Christopher G. Williams of Greensburg lost control of his motorcycle on Spruce Hollow Road and struck a tree at 6:50 p.m. Saturday.

Hit-and-run reported

Stanley Kustron, 25, no address listed told state police that he was driving south on Route 43 Friday when his vehicle was struck by an unknown driver. Police noted that the other driver was located on Route 119 south at the Morgantown exit and charges are pending against the 21-year-old man.

Burglary

Audra Marie Perez of Uniontown told state police that her Bute Road home was forcibly entered and 10 audio CDs stolen on Aug. 26.

Hit-and-run reported

State police reported that an unknown driver left Dinnerbell-Ohiopyle Road at the Grover Road intersection and struck a fence, traveled through a field for 150 feet and then struck the fence again before re-entering the roadway. Police suspect the vehicle was some sort of truck.

South Union Twp.

Damage reported

William Eutsey of Mount Pleasant reported a dent on his car door and Teddy Durso of New Salem told police the windshield of his car was damaged while both were parked at K-Mart at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

West Bethlehem Twp.

Attempted burglary

Mary Martha Daly, 43, of Marianna told state police that at 1:30 a.m. Saturday two men wearing dark clothing tried to force open a window on the south side of her Elm Avenue home. Police said the sounds woke Daly and her son who turned on lights and scared the men away.

Charges pending

State police said that charges of harassment are pending against a 36-year-old Hickory man for allegedly striking Tracy Lynn Clemens, 36, in the face at 2 a.m. Saturday during a dispute at 92 Main St.

Hit-and-run

Michelle Sullivan, 30, of Harrisburg told state police that an unknown driver in what could have been a red Chevrolet Cavalier crossed the centerline of Route 18 and sideswiped her vehicle at 4:15 p.m. Sunday.

Drug possession

State police said charges of drug possession are pending against a 33-year-old Vanderbilt man after he was discovered with a small amount of suspected marijuana at the Yough River Trail parking area at 7:55 p.m. Saturday.

Charges pending

State police said harassment charges are pending against a 37-year-old Perryopolis man after he allegedly threw a cup of hot coffee on Jianna Mucci, 89, of Perryopolis.

Vehicle arson

State police are looking for information on an incident in which a 1999 Chevrolet truck owned by Frank Lovasz, 43, of Perryopolis was burned along Curfew Road at 3:30 a.m. Monday.

Man cited

David Wayne Inman, 41, of Perryopolis was cited for harassment for allegedly shining a spotlight into the windows of a home owned by Yvonne Sue Cochran, 45, of Perryopolis at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

Injuries reported

Fayette County 911 said injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Route 51 at 5:25 p.m. Sunday. State police said Esther M. McKinney, 61, of Uniontown and Robert D. Brown, 21, of Aliquippa operated the vehicles and that officers were uncertain as to the extent of injuries of either driver but that passengers in McKinney’s vehicle were not injured.

Window broken

John Morgan of Nemacolin told state police that between 11:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 25 a rock was thrown through the window of his Bliss Avenue residence.

Vehicle damaged

Donald Fabery of Nemacolin told state police that his vehicle was struck with a rock and damaged while parked along Bliss Avenue between 11:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 25.

Vehicles vandalized

Todd Lowery, Matthew Conrad and Tracy Morris, all of Nemacolin, told police that while their vehicles were parked on Bliss Avenue and Hilltop Court between 11:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 25 obscene words were keyed into the doors.

Items taken

Daniel Exline of Morgantown, W.Va., told state police that the following items were removed from his truck while it was parked in the Oak Ridge Mobile Home Park between 11:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Aug. 27: one roll black roofing paper, one roll flint paper and three 4×8 sheets of drywall. Loss is estimated at $40.47.

Burglary

Brandi Lee Puch, 24, of Dilliner and Kenneth Wayne Rohr, 35, of Dilliner told state police that their Big Foot Road was entered and $125 and a .22-caliber long rifle removed at 8 p.m. Aug. 26. Police said that a witness spotted two men, and that there are suspects facing charges in the incident.

Man charged

John Richard Hardoby Jr., of West Brownsville was charged with theft after he allegedly took $25 and a 1996 Ford Windstar owned by Vicki Palmer of Clarksville from Teagarden Homes at approximately 11:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Brownsville police recovered the vehicle.

Mailboxes destroyed

Bonnie and Gail Courtright of Wind Ridge told state police that during the morning hours of Aug. 23 their mailboxes were run over.
