Betty L. Ansell, R.N.
Betty L. Ansell, R.N., age 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, in Horizon Personal Care Home, Fairchance, Pa. She was born June 29, 1918, in Lemont Furnace, Pa.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Ansell in 2000, and a brother, Kenneth Rapson.
She was a graduate from North Union High School, and the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing, and worked in the Nursery of Uniontown Hospital until her retirement.
Betty was a member of the Uniontown Free Methodist Church, Uniontown Chapter No. 263 O.E.S., and the Circle Club.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ansell and his wife, Linda, and C. Ray Ansell, all of Uniontown; and four grandchildren, Lisa, Christopher and Raymond Ansell and Barbara Duda.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. James Jobes, the Rev. Charles Little and the Rev. Scott Teets officiating. The O.E.S will conduct a service on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery under the Circle Club Service.
Circle Club Service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
