Runaway sought
State police are looking for information on the whereabouts of Taryn Louise Humberson, 14, of McClellandtown who was last seen at her family home at 9:15 a.m. Sunday. Humberson is described as a white female with darker complexion, 5-feet 2-inches tall, 105-pounds with shoulder length straight black hair. Anyone who has seen Humberson is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

One-vehicle accident
State police said no injuries were reported when Kenneth Fasano, 36, of Mount Pleasant lost control of his vehicle on Steel Street causing it to turn on its side at 2 a.m. on Aug. 26. Police said the accident is under investigation.

Gun incident
State police in Uniontown said charges are pending against a man for allegedly threatening four people with a gun at 10:45p.m. Sunday along Finley Street. Police said the victims were William Carl Vandiviner, 36, of Pittsburgh, Kevin Anthony Fronczek, 31, of New Salem, John Albert Stitchick, 30, of Smithfield and Timothy Stewart Hormell, 32, of Hopwood.

Two men arrested
Larry David Tomlin of Brownsville and Albert Ray Daugherty of Uniontown were arrested and charged with theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and loitering and prowling at night, state police in Uniontown said.
They allegedly stole items from cars parked in the areas of Mullen Street and Seventh Street at 2 a.m. Tuesday, police said, noting that a witness reported seeing them break into a car. Both men were arraigned at District Justice Rick Vernon’s office and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Theft reported
State police are investigating the theft of 1,618 gallons of gas and $33.30 worth of merchandise from the Center Service gas station on Morgantown Street between 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Car fire
City police said a car owned by Thomas and Deborah Sangston caught fire Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at 206 E. Main St. The incident is under investigation.

Burglary reported
State police in Uniontown said someone forcibly entered the LVC-MOR Amaco along Route 40 on Aug. 28 at 1 a.m. and took 70 cartons of cigarettes and caused $20 in damages.

Tools, tires stolen
State police said $1,495 worth of tools and $1,950 in retreaded truck tires were taken from J&M Transportation along Pennville Road between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Stacy Greco, 22, and Kristen Greco, 20, both of Vanderbilt, were cited for harassment for allegedly assaulting Krista Wingrove, 23, of Uniontown outside of the Long Branch Saloon at 2:15 a.m. Monday, state police in Uniontown said.

State police said a non-traffic citation was filed against James Pitts of Hopwood for not paying for $15.26 of gas at J&G Foodmart in Haydentown at 10 p.m. Monday.

State police said someone damaged Brian J. Fullem’s mailbox along West Mountain View Road in Bear Rocks on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1.

Grill stolen
State police in Uniontown said a gas grill was taken from the front yard of Vivian Martin’s home along Turkeyfoot Road in Lemont Furnace between 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday.

State police in Belle Vernon said tools were taken from a truck owned by Karl Siple of Dawson on Sunday or Monday along Griscom Street.

Two men cited
Citations were filed against Dale Alan Gemas of Dunbar and William A. McLaughlin Jr. of Dunbar for fighting Sunday at 3:40 a.m. at lot 13 in Green Hills Mobile Home Park, state police said.

Charges dismissed
Charges alleging Jason Anthony Smalley, 23, of Marianna assaulted his parents on Aug. 24 were dismissed in a preliminary hearing Tuesday after the parents refused to testify. State police in Washington charged him with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment and stalking for allegedly hitting his mother, Madeline Barbara Smalley, 74, in the arm and his father, Stanley Anthony Smalley, 57, in the head during an argument.
District Justice Curtis Thompson dismissed the charges, but ordered the victims to pay $41.50 in court costs.

Debra Arlene Fitzgerald, 39, of 24 Winona St., Uniontown, was cited for harassment following a disturbance at 9 p.m. Monday at 30 N. Gordon St., city police said.

City police said Connellsville police reported Tuesday morning that they recovered a Dodge Neon reported stolen in July in Uniontown.

Art and Mary Wilson of 11 Mifflin Ave., Uniontown, were cited for harassment for allegedly threatening and harassing their neighbor Thedia Harford of 13 Mifflin Ave. on Monday at 11:40 p.m., city police said.

City police said Barry Croftcheck of Braddock Avenue reported Tuesday morning that someone forced their way into his garage through a man door and took two checkbooks, a pair of sunglasses and change from two cars sometime during the night.

Monthly report
State police in Belle Vernon said 149 offenses were reported and 87 arrests were made in August, according to a monthly activity report from station commander Lt. Sheldon Epstein. The report says 149 offenses were founded and 69 were cleared. Four vehicles with a combined value of $18,825 were recovered. Patrol activity included 42 accidents, seven hit-and-run accidents, one fatality, 27 injuries, 523 traffic citations issued, 28 driving under the influence citations issued, 705 warnings issued, 47 motorist assists, 506 other incidents and 744 total incidents.

Monthly report
The state police bureau of liquor control enforcement office in Pittsburgh, which covers Fayette County, received 201 complaints in August, according to its monthly report. According to the report, 1,067 complaints were investigated, 581 licensed establishments were checked, 30 licensed establishments were cited for violations, 53 minors cited for underage drinking, one arrest for selling liquor without a license, 23 warning were issued and nine other arrests were made.

Lights damaged
State police said the taillights on a car owned by Robert James Wilson Sr., 53, of Allegheny County were damaged Saturday or Sunday in the Hunters Ridge parking lot.

Man cited
Dameon Lovett 22, of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness at 1 a.m. Wednesday in Lemon Wood Acres, state police said.

State police said Brian Keith Lake of Uniontown reported that an item was stolen from his trailer Saturday or Sunday when it was parked in front of his home along Miller Farm Lane.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following in unrelated incidents:
William David McCargo, 32, of 112 W. Green St. for disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found urinating in a Gibson Terrace parking lot on Sept. 3.
Linda Savage, 50, of 364 Broadford Road for public drunkenness after she was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition on West Fairview Avenue on Aug. 30.
Richard S. Lombardo, 32, and Theodore S. Lombardo, 28, both of 135 S. Meadow Lane, for criminal trespass after they were allegedly found in Gibson Terrace on Aug. 30. Police said the men have been restricted from entering the housing complex.

Two charged
Police filed charges of disorderly conduct against Cindy Medvec, 34, of 24 Gibson Terrace and criminal trespass against Billie Jo Wilson, 28, of 135 S. Meadow Lane stemming from a Sept. 3 incident in Gibson Terrace.
According to police, Medvec was allegedly found to be involved in a disturbance while Wilson is not permitted to be in the housing complex.
