Evelyn Munsey
Evelyn Munsey of Reno, Nev., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday morning, Aug. 30, 2002, in the Washoe Hospital, Reno, Nev. She was born Oct. 1, 1911, in Athens, Ga., daughter of the late Emory and Bertha Little.
Evelyn was a former member of the Shiloh Baptist Church of Revere, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Munsey Sr., and sons, George Munsey Jr., and William “Bill” Munsey.
Surviving are the following children, Patricia Russell and husband, Joseph, Nelson Munsey and Chuck Muncie, all of the State of California, and Marsha Stratford and husband, Edwin of Reno, Nev.; daughters-in-law, Cathee and Mary Munsey; ten grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service. Interment will be in Park Place Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
