William J. Henzly

William J. Henzly, 91, a resident of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, in the Horizon Personal Care Home, Fairchance, Pa. He was born March 25, 1911, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late John and Freda Nehls Henzly.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Uniontown, Pa., and was a life member of WPIE Amateur Radio Club.

Mr. Henzly was the owner of Henzly Radio and TV Service, and was chief engineer of radio station WMBS for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. Henzly.

Surviving are two children, Ann Hultberg and husband, Glenn of Goodyear, Ariz., and Robert E. Henzly and wife, Beatrice of Hopwood, Pa.; two grandchildren, Jill and Robert; and two step-grandchildren, Sheryl and Nancy.

Friends were received in the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church today at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Paul N. Frank Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
