Arnett-Merbedone
United in marriage on May 25 were Angela J. Merbedone and Jeffrey L. Arnett. The Rev. Ronald McCauley officiated the service at Suncrest United Methodist Church in Masontown, W.Va. A reception followed at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Amadee B. Merbedone and Shirley Merbedone of Fairchance. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Arnett of Morgantown.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a silk-faced satin strapless gown accented with tulle with beaded floral leaves accenting the edge of the bodice and a series of tailored pleats released to form a chapel-length train. A crystal and pearl tiara held a chapel-length veil embellished with crystal appliques.
Maid of honor was Christina Merdebone, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Andrea Wary. Bridesmaids were Amy Irons, sister of the bridegroom, Jill Bachinski, Kim Price and Meranda Simon. Katrina Whitmarsh was a junior bridesmaid. Shyney Elmore, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Best man was Stephen Arnett, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Matthew Merbedone, brother of the bride; Craig Irons, Doug Howell, Tom Kleeh, James Akers and Chip Williams. Albert and Eddie Irons, nephews of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Geibel Catholic High School, a 1996 graduate of West Virginia University and also a 2000 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She is a school psychologist for Monongalia County Schools in Morgantown, W.Va.
The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Morgantown High School and a 1999 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law. He is a lawyer with Wilson, Frame, Benninger and Metheney P.L.L.C., in Morgantown.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.
They reside at 29 Clear Spring Drive, Morgantown.
