Michelle Evans and Charlie Snyder of Pittsburgh were united in marriage on June 8 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Smithfield. The Rev. Jay Hurley officiated the service.

The bride’s parents are Fred and Christine Evans of Water Street, Smithfield. The bridegroom’s parents are Robert and Veronica Snyder of Ben Lomond Street, Uniontown, and George and Rebecca Shoaf of Victoria Street, Uniontown.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an A-line gown with strapless top with graduated pearl beading on the bodice and skirt. A pearl clustered tiara held a fingertip veil adorned with crystals and pearls.

Melissa Evans, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Bragg, cousin of the bride; Rachel Fotta, Jennifer Girod, Julie Hines, Heather Isanogle and Holly Smith. Flower girl was Serra Reagan, cousin of the bridegroom.

Best man was Robert Snyder, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Chris Ryan, cousin of the groom; Dan Beall, Ken Hawker, Brandon Clawson, Jeremy Hixson and Rick Georgianna. Ring bearer was R.J. Bragg, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Lakeside Party Center, Uniontown. They went on a cruise to western Caribbean.

The bride graduated from West Virginia University. She is a medical technologist at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom is a graduate of West Virginia Junior College. He is manager of Office Depot in Monroeville.

The couple is residing at Rosewood Court, Pittsburgh.
