Dorothy L. Strickler
Dorothy L. Strickler, 82, of King George, Virginia, formerly of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon, Pa., died Sunday, September 8, 2002 in Country Care Manor. She was born November 26, 1919, in Newell, Pa., a daughter of the late Leon A. and Isabelle Sturgis Sisk.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Coal Center, Pa. Dorothy was a kind and devoted person to her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband Claude Strickler and children Diana L. Seighman and husband George of King George, Va. and C. Elaine Wilbraham and husband David of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa. today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of services in the funeral home with Rev. Joan Rousseau officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
