Cheryl Whoric Caplan, 58, of Lancaster County, formerly of Vanderbilt, died Saturday, September 7, 2002, in Brandywine Hospital in Caln. She is survived by her mother, Helen Ellenberger Whoric of Vanderbilt; her husband, Attorney Richard Caplan of Epharata; three brothers, Donald Whoric of Vanderbilt, James Whoric of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Joseph Whoric of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Nancy Peebles, Cynthia Rath and Lois McKee, all of Vanderbilt and two step-children, Brian Caplan of New York and Michelle Caplan of Chicago, Ill.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, Pa. where private services will be held.
