Bicycles recovered
State police said two bicycles were recovered Monday at two North Union Township sites. Anyone claiming the bicycles must prove ownership and anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111. One was found in a field next to a Lincoln Street address and is a Mt. Sport Roadmaster, six speed, 20-inch blue bicycle The other was found in the front yard of a Pittsburgh Road address and is described as a Next All-Terrain Shock, 21 speed, red and black, 24 inch bicycle.

Harassment
State police said a juvenile struck another juvenile in the face after the two stepped off a bus at the Village of Searights in Menallen Township Monday around 3 p.m.
Redstone Twp.
Three cited
State police cited Amy Metik of New Salem, Constance Armel of Fairbank and a juvenile with harassment, filing the citations as the office of District Justice Mike Defino. Police alleged the two were involved in a physical argument Sept. 3 around 2 p.m. at 493 Filbert Orient Road in Fairbank.

Man charged
State police allegedly found John Russell Burns III intoxicated at the McDonald’s parking lot in Waynesburg Sunday at 5:38 a.m. and filed charges against him at the office of District Justice Neil Canan.

Trespass
State police cited Joshua D. Bolz, 18, of Waynesburg, Robert P. McCreery, 20, of Mather and two juveniles with simple trespass for allegedly trespassing on posted private property at the Curry Home in Franklin Township, Greene County, Sunday at 12:30 a.m.

Woman slapped
State police said someone slapped Danielle Lynn Sandusky on the head Monday at 2:06 p.m. at 294 Morgan Station Rd., Lemont Furnace.

Hit-and-run probed
Someone driving a red Ford Ranger pick-up truck early 1990s model hit a 1997 green Volvo 960 and left the scene at the Giant Eagle parking lot in Waynesburg Aug. 28 at 7:49 p.m., said state police. The owner of the car that was struck is Emily E. Patterson of Waynesburg. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police station in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.

Crash reported
State police said Paul Douglas Rhodes, 64, of Uniontown was driving along Route 21 Sept. 7 at 8 a.m. when his car struck a fence and a utility pole.

Woman harassed
Billie Jean Balint, 18, of Carmichaels told state police someone harassed her by standing outside her house at 1992 East Roy Furman Highway and yelling profanity at her Sept. 5 at 12:45 p.m.
Connellsville
Man charged
State police charged Samuel Edward Nudo Jr., 36, of Connellsville with simple assault and terroristic threats after finding Tonya Kay Nudo, 28, of Connellsville at 410 E. Crawford Ave. with a bruised and swollen left eye.
Police said they had gone to the address to conduct an interview on an unrelated incident and Tonya Kay Nudo indicated she was injured during a domestic dispute with Samuel Edward Nudo. Police listed the incident date as Sept. 1-3 and noted Samuel Edward Nudo was arraigned before District Justice Ronald Haggerty and released after bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.

Cars collide
Vehicles driven by Craig Fisher of Belle Vernon and Randy McClelland of Uniontown collided Monday at 3:15 p.m. along Interstate 70, said state police. Police said both vehicles sustained light damage and no one was injured.

Charge filed
State police said George Carl Chory, 36, of Bobtown was arrested for simple assault and a hearing is pending in connection with an alleged domestic altercation with Donna Lisa Chory, 36, of Bobtown at a Denny Street location Sunday at 7:15 p.m.

Two treated
State police said Shelly Lynn Miller of 345 Dickerson Run Road, Vanderbilt, and passenger Cody Lee Crossland of Connellsville were treated at Highlands Hospital after a one-car accident at 8:45 a.m. Monday on Route 201.

Two charged
State police charged Bethel Gaines, 22, of Uniontown and Keith Bass, 19, of Uniontown with simple assault for allegedly fighting at 6 Snyder Terrace at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Firearm stolen
State police said a resident, whom they did not name, reported a firearm was taken Aug. 23 around 11:35 p.m. from his 109 Sheldon Ave. home.

Man charged
State police charged Guy Dulaney, 36, of Waynesburg with burglary and simple assault after an incident at 450 Shady Lane, Waynesburg. Police said Krisann Mason, 35, of Waynesburg alleged that Dulaney, her ex-boyfriend, kicked in the door at her house Aug. 30 at 11:18 p.m., assaulted her and damaged numerous items in the residence.

Quad stolen
Paul W. Soltis III, 32, of Connellsville told state police someone broke into his garage along Marietta Street Aug. 3 and removed his 2002 Polaris Sportsman 500 quad.

Police investigate
State police said they found a man apparently under the influence of alcohol walking along Route 21 near Muddy Creek Church at 3:58 a.m. Aug. 30. Police said a subsequent search led to the discovery of drugs and a pipe for smoking suspected crack cocaine.

State police said someone took a tent from the back yard of Audrey Propps at 10 Railroad St. Tuesday at 2:30 a.m.

Hit-and-run probed
State police said someone struck a parked, unattended vehicle owned by Mary Jane Hixon of Dover at the parking lot of Yogi Bear Campground around noon Sept. 2.

Report released
State police at Washington issued a report of their station’s activity for August that noted 1,279 criminal offenses were reported. The total was 1,272 for founded offenses and 709 were cleared. The total of criminal arrests was 715. Police listed 30 arson investigations. They also had 39 recovered vehicles and gave a value of $206,182 to recovered property, which included vehicles.
Regarding patrol activity, police logged 634 accidents, 68 of them hit-and-run. Police reported seven fatalities and 202 people injured. Troopers issued 3,389 traffic citations and 3,265 warnings, made 145 DUI arrests, assisted motorists 514 times, logged 3,519 other incidents and gave the total number of incidents as 5,946.
