Dorothy E. Kingan Miller, 87, of Haydentown, Pa., died Wednesday, September 11, 2002, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born December 10, 1914, in South Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Thomas Kingan and Ella Stemnock Kingan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter P. Miller, a daughter, Doris J. Miller Hornsby, a sister, Minnie Kingan Kennison, three brothers, Edward Kingan, Roy Kingan and an infant brother, David, and her parents.

Surviving are three children: Bonnie Miller Fowler and husband, Arthur, of Smithfield, Pa., Wallace R. Miller and wife, Helene, of Cleveland, Missouri, and Glenn L. Miller and wife, Erma, of Smithfield, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Kingan of Smithfield; five sisters: Rose Humphrey of Fairchance, Pa., Margaret Switalski of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Alberta Switalski of Smithfield, Laura Conley of Point Marion, Pa., and Kate Barton of New Geneva, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and a son-in-law, Orville Hornsby of Smithfield.

The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 16, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
