Sophie Marie LaCotta
Sophie Marie LaCotta, 77, of Coal Center, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002. She was born January 26, 1925, in Coal Center, daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Miefski) Oslenski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward LaCotta, on September 11, 2002; two sisters, Stella Traina and Grace Oslenski; and a brother, Martin Oslenski.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and William Moore of Belle Vernon and Barb and Robert Rumble of Coal Center; a sister, Jennie Geneva, of Port Richy, Fla., a grandson, Ed LaCotta II, and wife Tiffany of Centerville; a great-granddaughter, Anastasia LaCotta, of Centerville; special niece Linda Hall of West Leisenring; plus several other nieces and nephews.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa.
