Margaret Livingstone Shillings, R.N.
Margaret Livingstone Shillings, R.N., age 80, of Braden, Clarksville, Pa., died Thursday, September 26, 2002, at 10:50 p.m. in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She recently had been residing with her daughter, Judith Shillings Boyle. She was born August 8, 1922, in Coal Center, Pa., daughter of Thomas Livingstone and Lurlene Wood Livingstone.
She graduated from the former East Pike High school and later graduated from the former Brownsville General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Mrs. Shillings was employed at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and retired after 20 years of service as a Head Nurse for Centerville Clinics Inc.
She was a member of Clarksville Christian Church.
On February 25, 1948, she married Joseph C. Shillings. He died November 26, 2000.
Also deceased are her parents and two sisters, Ida Motchakoski and Ruth Bennett.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Judith) Boyle, and a grandson, Ryan James Boyle, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; a brother, Thomas Livingstone of California state; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Wednesday, October 2, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Domenick Sgro officiating.
Interment will follow in Howes Cemetery.
